Privacy policy

PDF Tahrir never sees or stores your documents. Here is what data the site works with.
Your files
The PDF you open is processed only in your browser — in your device’s memory. The file and its content are never uploaded or shared with us or any third party.
The edited file is also created in the browser and downloaded straight to your device. When you close the page, the file is cleared from memory.
Fonts
If a font is only partially embedded in the PDF (usually just the letters actually used), the editor downloads the full version of that font from Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com) or jsDelivr so new letters match the original. Only the font file is requested — your PDF, its name and its text are never sent.
Data stored on your device
The site has no accounts and asks for no personal data. Browser storage (localStorage) keeps only your theme choice (light or dark).
Ads and cookies
To keep the site free, it may show Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). Learn more: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Ad scripts have no access to your PDF — the file never leaves the page.
Analytics
To understand how many people use the site and on which devices, we use Google Analytics: the page opened, approximate country, browser and device type. It uses cookies.
Only anonymous numbers are recorded (for example, the number of pages in a PDF or the number of edits). File names, text and other content are never sent. To opt out of Google Analytics: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Technical logs
The hosting provider (Vercel) may briefly keep technical request data (IP address, browser type, time) for security and reliability. This data never includes the content of your documents.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new text will be published on this page and the date above will be updated.
